About Me

Hi, I'm Jason Husak

I am a University of Alberta graduate who majored in biology with a minor in film studies.

Over the course of my academic career at the U of A, I wrote and eventually published multiple film reviews and analyses for the Carolina-based film journal Film Matters Magazine. After I sparked this passion for creativity at the U of A, I joined the MacEwan University family to study journalism and professional communication.

My time at MacEwan has provided me with many professional opportunities that have allowed me to hone my skills as a professional multimedia journalist and creator.

I am passionate about writing and multimedia production, whether through creating articles, podcasts, or videos. I strive to tell compelling stories while pursuing my degree at MacEwan University.
